Our Board of Directors
Art grew up in the northwestern suburbs of Chicago and enlisted in the United States Navy in September of 1992. Spending 20 years in the Submarine Force, Art earned his undergraduate degree in adult education and curriculum development. During his tenure in the Navy, he was assigned as a Recruit Division Commander where he earned his certification as a Master Training Specialist. He was later assigned as the Senior Training Advisor at the Submarine Learning Facility, Norfolk, Virginia, and was responsible for all tactical and pre-deployment training in Norfolk and Kings Bay, Georgia.
Art Retired in 2012 as a Senior Chief Petty Officer. After retirement, Art graduated law school from George Mason University in Arlington, Virginia and is a partner in the Law Firm of Hoeh & Pistorio. He lives in Perry County with his wife Caitlin and their two children who proudly attend St. Vincent De Paul elementary school as 4th generation students.

Amy Sutterer, and her husband Patrick graduated from SVHS in 1980. Their children, Jacob and Rachel graduated in 2006 and 2010, respectively. The fifth generation family tradition continues with Jacob's sons, Colt (5th grade), Waylon (3rd grade) and Jed, when he starts kindergarten next year.
Holds a master's degree in School Counseling from Southeast Missouri State University, and a masters and bachelor's of science degrees in Special Education from the University of Missouri- Columbia.
Retired from a counseling position at Cape Central High School after a 31 year successful career in education. She worked as part of the SVHS leadership team in a counseling role from 2002-2008.

Becky is retired from elected Circuit Clerk of Perry County. In that capacity, was a member and past president of the Missouri Circuit Clerks' Association.
Current member, Board member and past president of the Rotary Club of Perryville. Also, a member of the Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary.
After living his dream career as an entrepreneur, Tom (SVHS '82) left the business world to pursue higher causes. Prayers and discernment over a period of time led Tom to trust that God had called him to the "higher cause" of full-time Christian ministry as a Permanent Deacon. Since his ordination on June 29, 2013, for the diocese of Springfield-Cape Girardeau, Deacon Tom served for twelve years as the Executive Director of Catholic Campus Ministry at SEMO University, as well as a pastoral associate at St. Vincent DePaul Parish in Cape Girardeau, MO. He has previously served on the Board of the Association of the Miraculous Medal (2015-2021) and the Saint Francis Healthcare Foundation (2017-2021).
Additionally,. Tom is a Spiritual Advisor to the local Cursillo movement and has completed Spiritual Director certification via the Holy Family School of Faith in the Archdiocese of Kansas City, KS. Through the primary work of Divine Providence with the help of Tom's leadership, a campaign to build a new Catholic Center on the campus of SEMO University being consecrated by Bishop Edward Rice on August 22, 2021. Tom has been married to Debbie (Newell, SVHS '83) for 38 years and entrusted by God with four children and ten grandchildren.

Rev. Anthony Dosen, CM is a senior priest in service at the Apostle of Charity Residence and St. Vincent de Paul Parish in Perryville, MO.
He is a retired professor from DePaul University’s College of Education, holding a Ph.D. in Education as well as advanced degrees in History and Systematic Theology.

Roger is a graduate of Mizzou with a master's degree in accounting and a retired partner from PriceWaterhouseCoopers.
He (1960) and his wife, Peggy (1959), are graduates of SVS, as are Roger's parents.
He has served on numerous not-for-profit and public Boards and is currently the Treasurer of our Board and of Hope Therapeutic Center in Perryville.
